On March 27, 2026, a working meeting was held at the Politehnica University of Timișoara,
dedicated to the implementation of ongoing project activities and the preparation of the
upcoming workshop scheduled for April 3 in Timișoara.
Dr Daniel Kržanović, Project Coordinator on behalf of the Mining and Metallurgy Institute
Bor, participated in meetings with the Project Manager, Dr Nicoleta Nemeș, and members of
the project team. During the meeting, the results achieved so far were reviewed, progress in
the implementation of planned activities was analyzed, and the next steps in conducting the
research were defined.
Special focus was placed on the coordination of joint activities between the partner
institutions, the Mining and Metallurgy Institute Bor and the Politehnica University of
Timișoara. The final steps of field investigations, the timeline for laboratory analyses, and the
processing and interpretation of collected data were discussed. Organizational activities
related to the upcoming workshop, including program content and technical preparation of
the event, were also harmonized.
This working visit further confirms the high-quality and continuous cooperation between
partner institutions and represents an important step toward the successful implementation
of project activities, as well as the organization of the upcoming workshop in Timișoara.
